The Talent Acquisition Manager will manage BenchSci’s non-engineering recruiting practice.  This individual will partner with management and employees to ensure the development and implementation of a creative and engaging Talent acquisition strategy. You will be reporting to the Chief People Officer at BenchSci.

The primary functions include:

– Manage the recruitment of non-engineering employees

– Partner with management in continuously develop effective recruitment practices

– Ensure industry best practices are leveraged throughout the talent acquisition process

– Create job postings and related position-specific and manage all online recruitment activities and accounts

– Creatively source candidates for positions, utilizing a variety of recruitment channels such as employee referrals, direct sourcing, and Internet applications

– Evaluate resumes, interview and present qualified candidates to hiring managers, and solicit feedback on candidates to refine recruiting strategy as applicable

– Ensure best-in-class candidate experience with frequent and timely communication throughout the recruitment process

– Manage and ensure the ATS is optimized and up to date generating reports and providing analyses of TA trends for leadership

– Act as a brand ambassador for BenchSci; educate candidates on the culture, career growth, benefits, and many advantages of working for BenchSci

– Conduct compensation conversations with both HR Business Partner and hiring managers to ensure internal and external equity

– Prepare and extend candidate offer letters, serving as the primary point of contact for additional communications, scheduling, and negotiations

– Integrate processes that continue to embrace a highly diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace

– Track and report on recruiting metrics to determine efficiencies and areas for improvement – provide updates to senior management

Knowledge & Experience:

– 3+ year’s experience in a Talent acquisition role and a demonstrated ability to lead with strategic foresight

– Experience hiring at all levels across sales, marketing, customer support, R&D, corporate development, G&A, project management, and other roles in the technology industry

– Startup experience – you know what it takes to build a team and love getting your hands dirty

– Strong and extensive knowledge of up-to-date talent acquisition 

– Demonstrate ability to develop, implement and meet strategic objectives for TA and the organization

– Experience in advising senior management in a strategic capacity while providing effective coaching on all Talent Acquisition
