In the role of Marketing Specialist, Demand Generation & Member Engagement, you will deliver lifecycle marketing initiatives that foster member engagement and retention. The main performance indicator for this role is member acquisition and program participation; finding new and innovative ways to access that audience will be an important objective and the benchmark for success. Reporting to Director, Marketing for Think Research subsidiary, MDBriefCase, you are a data driven, business minded marketing expert that can leverage data to uncover meaningful insights. You can manage cross-functional relationships with project management, data, editorial, and prioritize your work within the marketing team. You will deliver targeted and personalized campaigns.

 

Key Duties

– Creating, writing and editing campaign components spanning channels and touchpoints, including email marketing, digital and social content, virtual events and presentations, ensuring alignment to voice and brand guidelines 

– Design and seamlessly execute all marketing campaigns to grow engagement and improve retention of MDBriefCase members as aligned to the marketing strategy provided by senior management; channels primarily include web, email, and social media

– Perform copywriting for all marketing initiatives and write design briefs for graphic designers and email designers

– Manage the MDBriefCase social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn) as well as its Podcast channels (Get Briefed) to amplify content, aid in membership acquisition and increase overall brand awareness; providing recommendations to boost higher performance

– Create, monitor, track, evaluate and optimize campaign performance to maximize ROI.

– Produce reports on required data campaigns, including metrics like CPM, CPC, CPA and return on advertising expenses.

– Produce weekly results of the engagement and retention portfolio, including member churn and engagement

– Manage tight workback schedules and deadlines to ensure that all marketing communications are approved and deployed on time

– Monitor and respond to member inquiries as necessary to triage member issues

 

What You Bring to this Role

– 2-5 years’ experience within marketing, agency and/or B2B marketing

– A University or equivalent degree in business or marketing is preferred

– Experience with analytical tools including Google Analytics – certification preferred

– Ability to quickly analyze data and act on it

– Expertise with analytical tools for marketers, such as Google Analytics, Google Trends, and SEMRush, etc

– Knowledge of HTML, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Pardot, Hootsuite

– Must be able to work in independently in a professional, rapidly changing, fast-paced environment

– Demonstrated writer, proof-reader and editor with a solid understanding of project management and a strong attention to accuracy and detail
