 The Finance Data Integrations Specialist will be a subject matter expert in understanding the intricacies of our financial systems and how they work together to power our business. Reporting to the VP of Finance, they will have the ultimate responsibility of designing and implementing data integration solutions for our internal systems. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a rapidly growing technology company backed by top-tier investors!

What you’ll be doing day-to-day:

– Build data integrations between internal systems using third-party APIs

– Ensure that the communication between the data pipelines for our internal systems are seamless

– Work collaboratively with the Finance and Engineering teams to build industry-leading internal integrations to drive efficiencies

– Develop and implement a system to monitor data quality and consistency

– Maintain rigorous data quality standards and controls

– Communicate and manage internal stakeholder expectations

You will thrive if you have:

– A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study

– Previous experience working with general ledger integrations or other financial systems – you’ve worked directly with Finance teams to build out internal integrations across systems

– Technical experience with SQL database programming, data structures and algorithms, and modern programming languages and concepts (eg. Python and Ruby) 

– Basic working knowledge of Accounting principles and processes

– A self-starter mindset – you are able to transform sketches into working technology

– The ability to execute on challenging tasks and can take the lead on projects from start-to-finish – you are highly resourceful

– The ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced work environment

– An obsession with accuracy – you take pride in knowing all the little details!

– Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills – you will be working cross-functionally with many different business functions 

– The ability to deliver results independently and while working with a team

– Prior experience with Sage Intacct and/or a similar system (considered a strong asset)

– Experience with Snowflake, Fivetran, and Looker (considered a strong asset)
