You understand that by supporting the CEO and other executives, you can have a huge impact on the success of the company, and you are driven to provide this support. You’re highly organized, a quick learner, have exceptional time-management skills, and have experience working with many different personality types. Ultimately, you will keep our team running as efficiently as possible by offering your personalized and timely support to the CEO, CBO (Chief Business Officer) and other executives as needed. You are flexible and adaptable and thrive in a sometimes hectic environment, and you are able to identify and solve complex problems involving the coordination of people with a wide range of motivations, seniority, travel requirements, schedule constraints and personalities. Ideally, you have experience in a CEO-office environment, helping to coordinate priorities with the CEO and CBO across the internal team, board members, investors, and partners. You will understand and appreciate the priorities and working habits of the CEO as your direct manager, to support him and maximize the success of Deep Genomics. You strive to be a “safe pair of hands”, anticipating scheduling and planning conflicts and recommending work arounds. You are intellectually curious and are eager to learn new things.

What you’ll be doing:

– Acting as the main point of contact among executives, employees, board members, scientific advisors, pharmaceutical partners, investors, bank analysts, reporters, potential new hires, and others, all while maintaining confidentiality.

– Taking ownership of the CEO’s and CBO’s day to day activities, including calendar management, booking travel, booking meetings and restaurants, planning and booking offsites, and keeping them in the loop on upcoming commitments and responsibilities.

– Working in office as needed to support the operations team with office management and tasks, including keeping office and kitchen supplies stocked and organized, managing relationships with office supply vendors, receiving packages and mail, and welcoming guests.

– Working with the CEO to navigate sensitive interactions with internal and external stakeholders.

– Supporting the public relations and communications teams with press releases, liaising with the press, arranging meetings, and proofreading internal and external communications.

– Identifying gaps/opportunities for improvement and suggesting innovative ideas to improve the efficiency of communication and operations of the executive team and their functions.

What you bring:

– Eagerness to work with the CEO to build the world’s leading AI therapeutics company

– Minimum of 7-10 years of direct Executive Assistant experience

– Exceptional organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and impeccable attention to detail

– Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite and Apple products 

– Significant experience multitasking and keen ability to calmly and professionally prioritize urgent tasks that require quick turnaround

– Experience in CEO-office setting
