We’re looking for a Director of Payment to work on the strategy of new and existing partnerships to serve the most prestigious clients in the Spa and Wellness industry.


Job Duties:

– Payments Business Operations

– Overall responsibility for our emerging payments line of business.

– Act as point of contact for 3rd party vendors on all business matters

– Report to executive leadership on Book4Time payments operational health, including: new business pipeline, existing customer conversions, total transaction volume, revenue, account utilization, and more

– Monitor individual account profitability to ensure that merchant fee structures are correctly set and intervene where needed

– Work with internal teams to develop dashboards for day-to-day monitoring

– Customer Acquisition & Adoption

– Actively monitor payments Sales pipeline and track progress to goals

– Complete consultative demos for significant prospects (where requested)

– Conduct ongoing coaching for specific deals/opportunities so that we can maximize our teams win rate

– Use product adoption and usage data to create segmented cohorts to target for conversion to Book4Time Payments

– Participate in voice of the customer conversations / sessions to gather feedback which can be used to improve our offering

– Cross Functional Operational Support

– Facilitate cross-team coordination to ensure a positive customer experience. This includes the sales process, merchant application (submission, approval, set-up), merchant training, and approval, and ongoing account needs.

– Recommend and execute strategic pricing recommendations if/as needed

– Develop playbooks and best practices for our implementation teams so that customers are set up for success when it comes to their operational tasks including: refunds/voids, navigating batch reports and understanding settlement and reconciliation practices.

– Internal Payments Advocate

– Stay apprised of current industry pricing, especially for common 3rd party providers as well as general industry trends

– Coordinate with Marketing to ensure campaigns for payments are scheduled and on track

– Create opportunity assessments for product features to support higher adoption and attach rates within the customer base

 

Expertise you’ll bring:

– 3+ years Merchant Services experience is a must have

– Background in, or working with, SaaS organizations with a focus on integrated payments both North American and Internationally focused.

– Proficient and comfortable participating in the selling process when needed

– Persistent in getting new customers boarded and utilizing the Payments functionality

– Highly organized and comfort with being accountable to successful outcomes

– Able to communicate effectively with executive leadership

– Able to effectively communicate product gaps, their impact on the success of payments, and influence the product roadmap accordingly

– Collaborate positively across multiple disciplines: Marketing, Support, Sales, Product and Customer Success

– Strong analytical skills and comfort setting financial targets (e.g. profitability, revenue) and tracking progress to goals

– Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics is preferred
