What you will do:

– Build industry-leading home valuation models using millions of real-estate transactions and complementary datasets

– Work with business stakeholders to identify opportunities where machine learning can improve operational efficiency

– Evolve existing models through experimentation and analysis of new data sources, iteratively improving accuracy and reducing errors

– Explore and experiment with data, rapidly prototyping features and predictive models

– Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and development team on data pipelines, experimentation, and product integration

– Become a domain expert in real-estate

What we are looking for:

– 2+ years of experience in a Data Scientist role

– Practical experience with ML algorithms, feature extraction and selection, and statistical analysis

– Proficiency at tuning, troubleshooting and assessing subtle model issues and avoiding common pitfalls (e.g. overfitting)

– Proficiency at identifying problems that are suitable for ML and limitations of various techniques

– Proficiency with tooling for advanced processing (e.g. R, Python, sql windowing functions)

– Experience analyzing and manipulating large, complex and ambiguous datasets

– Experience with NLP – Natural Language Processing (nice to have)
