ecobee is looking for a Creative Project Manager with strong project management skills in creative advertising and/or integrated marketing with experience in the tech space. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional development in an established Canadian smart home company that is growing rapidly. You will work closely with the in-house creative team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Creative Operations and your role will include project and production management, creative team administration when assigning tasks based on project needs and client services across the organization and with external vendors.

How You’ll Make an Impact: 

– You will work closely with designers, writers, illustrators and external production/agency partners in delivering complex creative projects executed on tight deadlines over multiple media outputs

– Serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned projects, ensuring that communication is clear and concise between internal teams and stakeholders

– You will bring organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with a high level of passion and enthusiasm

– Work closely with cross-functional internal creative teams, Marketing and Product teams, Finance, web, etc.

– Be accountable for day-to-day project and production management; maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all project documentation within Asana, speaking to team priorities in creative stand ups, negotiate and manage outside vendor contracts related to assigned projects

– Project manage from start to completion while building trust and working with multiple internal and external stakeholders and various levels of approvals

– Develop workback schedules and critical paths through competing creative life cycles

– Develop production plans that include budgets, pre-production, shoot and post-production phases and work directly with production partners, internal creative teams, and senior leadership to lead to completion

– Creative Resource Management: Based on creative brief and project deliverables, you will forecast and assign project tasks to key creative team members or source external vendors as needed

– Work directly with Senior Manager, Creative Operations on creative staffing needs based on forecasted projects with competing deliverables

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

– 4-6 years of professional experience in creative project management

– Industry experience, with strong knowledge of digital marketing as well as traditional advertising channels

– Experience working within a tech company on hardware and/or software product launches

– You thrive on fast-paced work and will have no problem managing multiple priorities within a highly entrepreneurial environment, with excellent time management skills

– You will bring a high degree of initiative and a strong sense of urgency

– You are organized, with strong attention to detail across all documentations to ensure consistency and accuracy

– You have excellent teamwork abilities coupled with a high degree of autonomy to run with projects and effectively manage them from start to finish

– Our projects live and grow within Asana. High proficiency and experience working within this platform is essential

– Working knowledge of Confluence an asset
